Communication

Communication is the key to any good relationship. Many of us are led to believe that we are naturally good at communicating with our dogs but sadly we often get it wrong. Dogs communicate in many subtle and nuanced ways which we miss but they can also be blunt and forth right that as humans we often see as being aggressive or rude. Understanding our dogs and knowing how to respond is crucial for a trusting relationship. Many dogs are great at just getting on with it but other dogs are more sensitive and need us to be better communicators.
